Since 2000, the Long Island Pine Barrens Society has hosted a monthly television program, covering environmental issues and news stories such as drinking water protection, transportation, energy, organic landscaping and agriculture, farmland preservation, citizen court cases and much more. Special guests appear each month with hosts Richard Amper, the Society's Executive Director, and Kathleen Nasta.             

Now Showing: Tune in to the Society’s award-winning television program during the month of July for the show, “Preservation Crashes: Considering the Consequences”. Guests, the Pine Barrens Society Project Manager, Beth Motschenbacher, and current Board Member, Tom Casey, will discuss the recently-released “White Paper“ on the state of Long Island’s efforts to protect drinking water and preserve open space and farmland.
